Build Your Own Pavilion

Avi, age 14

My pavilion is located in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa right opposite the The Center for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria Faculty of Law. My pavilion is located right opposite there because as you can see, my design is build up all my colorful poles, all different colors and sizes all supporting each other holding each other together as a team and creating something beautiful. This represents equality, which is the main reason its located opposite the Human rights center since both places represent equality and peace. People could come to my pavilion and have interactive meetings with each other in a peaceful and secure atmosphere with expectations or limits.

I’ve named my pavilion Huis van gelykheid since this means the home of equality in Afrikaans.
