I live in a small town called Stonehaven which is situated beside the sea, I used the shells on the beach as my main inspiration for the pavilion as I imagine it in my town square. It would  be a place to gather with other locals in the town also to do activities in. The pavilion is a very open big space with the roof being sheltered and everything else open plan. To achieve this it would be made out of glass, metal and concrete. Then painted over in a neutral shade to create a more shell like atmosphere. I think that my pavilion would be a great place to catch up with friends and enjoy the view of the town all year round.
