Jago, age 11
My pavilion would be located in Hong Kong on Sheko Beach. Chinese farmers need somewhere to rest after a hard day, so my pavilion would allow them to do this. It would also offer an experience of enjoying different dimensions of light. I was inspired by modern lifestyles and houses, so I would use different coloured sheets of glass to make the spirals and the sun would reflect around the space. In a way it would be like a light show inside and it would even be ok with rain because the glass is waterproof. People could sit down to rest inside as I would set up tables. There would be no lack of space as I would make it very large and open so that lots of people could fit inside.
Fantastic. Thoughtful and creative. Congratulations Jago.
