Build Your Own Pavilion

Veronica, age 9

My pavilion is a nursery play area. My pavilion is located in a nursery. It inspired by my old nursery’s story time. We used to sit down in a room with cushions but it had interesting things to play with too. I would like my pavilion to be used by young children. They can play and explore, look into the mirrors on the floor, try to climb up the sticks, but if they fall the children will fall on cushions. Also, they can imagine and play with all the objects. The fluff in the bowl could be candy Floss! The cushions are different textures and colours, so children can learn textures and colours. I built it with fabric, sticks, wood, coloured sticky tape, plastic and wool. It is a good public space because children can learn, play and relax.
